In the 1980s I frequently traveled to India, crisscrossing the subcontinent after falling in love with this mighty civilization that was much older than mine! The landscapes, the way people work and play, the ancient monuments, and nature itself—all are infused with an intensity of life that I have tried to capture with my camera.
