City of Santa Monica Public Art Exhibit

Pascal Giacomini is partly responsible for the creation of West Hollywood’s formal, ongoing public art program. In 1994 he approached the West Hollywood City Council about installing a public exhibit of contemporary large-scale sculptures along the median strip spanning La Cienega Blvd. to Doheny Blvd. in Santa Monica, and they gave him unconditional support, including a printed catalog of the exhibition. Thanks to the artist, today the median strip remains a public art gallery for the tens of thousands of drivers that navigate  those city streets every day.
Pascal has participated in many public art exhibits throughout southern California, including Malibu and Palm Springs. His work can be viewed by appointment at Galerie Lakaye in Hollywood. He is also available to work on commission. For additional information or to schedule a showing, please call 323-460-7333 or email the artist at pascalgiacomini@gmail.com.
